I've done it!!! I had some crafty time. ok so there is not much craftyness that goes into them a little bit of colouring, Sticky back plastc, DST and a peg. But they are sooo cute. (well i think they are cute)

God I miss Crafting. I have been doing a bit of cross stitch as no be totally out of the loop but I miss making cards. I have just reconnected with an old friend who now lives in America so I am going to make her a special card every month to send across the seas. She is also a collector of postcards so guess what i am buying everytime I go somewhere lol. I really must try harder though.

I have decided that this weekend I will make an effort and i will sit and make some cards as I have loads of toppers and Decoupage all ready to go on cards I have found load of lovely stamps that I haven't ever used which is disgraceful lol

So Hopefully by this weekend I shall have some yummy new cards for people to look at. I wanna try and start selling them again but we shall see how that goes.

I have finished my first half year of uni, the schools break up soon and i will have 4 nights a week to myself to do so crafting and i cannot wait!!!

I have missed it terribly. All my stuff have been gathering dust, I keep looking at the new Wild Rose Studio Stamps and wanting to buy those. But I just can't justify buying anything at the moment when i don't have much tiume to do it.

Oh well I will update soon hopefully with some cards.

Gosh. It's amazing how time files when you can't do the things you love. I even had to commit the cardinal sin for any card maker this year and BUY christmas cards.

I just haven't had time to sit down and do any crafting and it's starting to annoy me. So this weekend i am going to have a go and make a few cards I think. I brought myself something from QVC this week out of the outlet that I liked the look of when i 1st saw it so it was a little cheaper so Treated myself as I have been working so hard.

I am back in Bad Blogger Mode! I have been doing some small crafting bits and bobs which i will update. but i just don't seem to have time at the moment lol

I have just started at university doing a English, Film and Media Degree Part time so that is taking priority at the moment. But I am thinking i may start my crimble cards soon as i have an opportunity to sell them at my dad's church's bizzare again this year :)

WEll i seem to have eaten something that has made me have a major craft weekend. I think i have just got my mojo back and since i have sorted all my stash out into it's new home i know where everything is (almost). I still really need to get something for my papers as i just have them all over the place. I must tidy all my craft stuff up though as it is ALL over my living room. I might get up in a little while and do a little bit of tidying up seeing i am awake at 6am!!!!

Firstly let me show you a few cards i have made. I hate to say it but i am really really pleased with the cards i have been making recently, i normally always find a reason to not like them but i am very pleased.

How cool is Ian, he can be downloaded from www.thegreetingsfarm.com. At first i really struggled with this image as i had coloured it in and then i just could think what t do with him and then i rememered i had some hammered card so i thought that would make a cool moon. I have inked the edge of the moon with ink to make it look even mooney! lol

Again another image that can be downloaded from the greetings farm. Meet Anya, what a little Angel she is (sorry poor poor pun) I haven't quite finshed this card as i have placed a greeting on the card yet, but it is probably going to be just as simple as the word Angel or 'Little Angel'. I don't know if you can see but her wings have glitter on them and also i have blobbed (i love that word) in the scallops of the oval.

This card is my First EVER attempt at Tea Bag Folding, Ive never really even it a thought as i thought it would be far to fiddly and not suit my style of card making (I think am quite a modern card maker using Bold Colours and blunt edges) but i really enjoyed the process and think the outcome looks quite impressive. So i spent most of yesterday looking for information on Tea Bag Folding and Oh My Gosh there are so many ways to Fold!

Gosh Was it really january the last time i blogged. Woops but i do have an excuse this time other than i forgot!!! lol

Unfortunately in Feb I was rushed into hospital with Gallstones (it turns out) so in April I am going into have my Gallbladder out ekkkkkk a little bit scared to say the least but am sure i will be find. Gives me a bit of time to sit at home and make cards whilst i recover :)

I am having a Stamp and Colour day today whilst at my mum's for Mothers Day watching the Footie so i will upload later on with my images.

ergh New Year Blues

Oh how i hate the new year blues. lol

I want to find some time to craft but i have no time. But people keep wanting to see me!!!!!! lol

I think I am gonna aim to have a nice crafting weekend starting thursday and ending Saturday night / afternoon i hope. I want to make a few thank you gifts which were meant to be christmas present but i just totally ran out of time. I want to make loads of cards and stock up for the next few weeks of the year lol

I have some SAS cards to make as I am useless and missed last months postal dates!!!

lol we shall see how i get on won't we lol

Glitter Pot

Well Saturday was the day and what a day it was. I was panicing the night before about not waking up in time so I hardly slept lol I was up at 7.30. I never knew there was nothing on telly at that time!!! lol

I was up an out of the Travelodge by 8 in the car by 8.30 and on my way (i wasn't planning on leaving till 9! lol) I got to the Glitter pot at 9!! so i sat in my car for ages! lol

Once I got inside it was like i had died an gone to heaven!! lol Spent a small fortune and i am regretting it now as I have no money now lol woops oh well i doubt i will get there for ages again lol

Once in the Group Caz was lovely and said if there's anything we would like her to show she will so 1st thing we did was a bag ( I had been thinking of having a go at bags for a while now) ((will pop a picture up later on))

The we had a little potter to our selves and i did a couple more thing (photo's to come) Lunch then came and I started to look at some of the cards on show around the room and saw the most Glittery cards ever and I asked Caz how it was done. So she glady showed us how.

So all in all a Wonderul day with a VERY long drive back home! lol Now I just need to find some time to have a craft with what i learnt at the weekend but before I can do my glittery cards again I need to get some Stamp n Bond.

YEAH

This is so cool. I just went on the Glitter Pot website for a browse as I can't really spend any money on crafty stuff at the moment and saw that they had an all day craft with Stamping Caz.

I hummed and harred about it for a few mins ran it past my dad and said shall go. Is it a bit silly to go all the way to West Sussex just for a card making afternoon. He said no it's just like driving to a Car Show. So I checked on the Travelodge Website Got a room for £19.00!!!! and then booked myself on the course. 29th Nov 2008 I shall be going to one of my favourite shops to craft!!!!!!!!!

I really hope that this afternoon will bring my crafting on as I feel like I am in a bit of a rut at the moment with my cards. Only 72 Days to Go lol

I can't believe it has been that long since i posted. But then again I haven't had time to do much card making as I have been so busy. I the summer is always a busy time for card making for me but I also have lots to do hahaha
Belw are a few cards I have made in the past few weeks. I am hoping to find some time over the weekend to have a play as I feel like I haven't even tried t make a card and it's such a shame as I feel so relaxed when I craft. I might go to blockbuster Get the Lastest movie out and put that on and make cards.

Also in July I got to cross off one of my Must Do's before I die lol and see The Phantom of The Opera at Her majesty Theatre in the West End. This show Is so moving and Wonderful Everything I thought it would be I cryed for Start to finish lol (through sheer joy and amazing I must Add). Below is me out side the Theatre. Next on the List are Chicago and Hairspray!!!

Not the Worlds best Picture of me but bare in mind I had been in a VERY hot Theatre for 3 hours lol.

Woops Lack of Updates

Ha ha ha I am so not good at updating things! very sorry if you have been popping on to see what i have been up to. I had to send my phone off to the phone doctor as it went wrong! lol So i haven't been able to update things for a couple of weeks.

Been very busy but it's not been crafty stuff all tho i did have a 4 hour craft marathon the other day as I had a day off work! Will upload pictures when I remeber to either bring the cable home or bring my phone to work lol Bad morning today.

I am hoping to have a good old craft this weekend aftre I have met up with a friend off the forum at Craft Central. I am going to try and be VERY VERY strict with myself and old buy something if I need it such as card blanks!

Paper Piecing

As inspired by Isa and my new Magnolia's. I decided to try Paper Piecing. I think it was the first time I tryed to make something using a pritt stick for a long time so i got a bit sticky lol.

She isn't mounted on a card yet as I haven't decided on how I cam going to use her yet but she definatley going to have be sitting on something i think. She's not totally finshed yet as I have yet to colour her hair and Shirt in. but I think she will be finshed soon as i am itching to get her on a card.

Well I have been so busy playing with my new stamps and circut machine, that I have forgotten to up date the old blog. That's the new resoultion out of the window lol.

Here is the weeks work so far, I know there's not many for a week but I only get an hour or so every so often as I do things later on in the evening so I just get into the Card and I have to pop off to Aqua or the gym. lol

Hi All

Was having a play with my new goodies is in : Magnolia Stamps, Cricut and Watercolour pencils.

I have decided that untill I can go to a lesson to learn how to use watercolour pencils properly I am just going to take the colour straight off the pencil. I tried to do it the way Stamping Caz Showed us on her Blog a few weeks ago and I ruined the image lol.

I think I have managed to colour this quite well . I much prefer the colour pencil give against Pens.

The inspriation from this card is from one of Isa's I hope you don't mind.

New Card

Morning Everybody.

It's a bit windy here at the moment and very rainy and my poor little mini had a puddle in it this morning as I need to get the seals sorted on the doors and windows as they are bad lol. A bit tired today. I think an early night but I gotta go swimming tonight lol.

Here is my latest card. I am very pleased with him as well. been looking forward to seeing how he came out. Parts where a little fiddly but they made it all fun.

Blog New Year Resolution

Bad Blogger

lol I am a bad Blogger. Well actually i am a Bad Updater as I don't think I have updated my website properly since I opened it lol. But them again I don't like the Lay out of the website so I am going to tweek it when I can be bother to sit in front of the computer all weekend or when I am off work after christmas (if I am allowed time of work).

I have been making cards i promise. Just Very Very slowly. Just can't seem to get christmas cards out I might even have to send some shop brought one DUN DUN DAAAAA lol I can't bring myself to do it tho lol I will bang some out on weds eve I think (hope) lol. I have made some tho and here is one of the ones i am most pleased with

This is the SAS Card I sent in November. I am so proud of this as last time I did a card using just peel off's my friend turned round and said it was horrible and boring. This time she said she loved it. I hope the person who recieved it liked it to.

Christmas Crosstitch

Well here is the start of the Christmas Cross Stitch. This is now far I have got as off 26/11/2007. I thought I was going to have to buy a load of thread but I was being very stupid and it was sitting at the front of the box lol. I am gonna play with my cuttlebug tonight for the first time since i brought it so i am slightly looking forward to it. Just trying to think what to have on in the background DVD or Tele?

Gosh

Has it really been a month since I have blogged. Woops. I must do this more often. Well in the Past month I have actually made a few cards which has amazed me really as I have been having brain freeze when it comes to card making, But it was my birthday on the 27th and I got loads of new fabby stuff.

I got some new Penny Black Stamps, and I got a CUTTLEBUG!!! So I shall be playing with that this weekend. I am also painting my flat at the moment, Did the first coat last weekend and this weekend we shall hopefully finsh and then I just have my Lounge and bedroom to do. But they should bee to bad as they are litle colours although i reckon the lounge will still need 2 coats.

Oh well I guess I better get back to work. I will make some cards over the next couple of days and updated the old blog when I have finished playing with my new toys hehehe

I made this card using my Fab stamps from Willow Designs, Stamped with Versacolor Black Ink and then coloured in with Twinkling H20's unfortunaly you can't see the fab colouring the h20's give off but trust me it looks fantastic. lol

Well I am very sorry for the lack of updates recently. I have only just got the software on my computer to transfer the photo's from my Phone to my Computer at home as Work one stopped working properly.

Well I have had some very good new recently I asked the shop next door if she would be happy to sell some cards I have made in her shop and she said yes of course, So I am trying to concentrate mainly on pets and animals as it is Pet food store but for all type sof animals ranging from hamsters and cats to Horses and Chickens lol.

I have also put a flyer out in my block of flats to see if anyone would be interested. I haven't had anything back yet but I only posted them on friday night. But to honest I am not holding out to much hope as I know what i would be like if I got a A5 Piece of paper shoved in my letter box! lol

I wiull update the blog tomoro with the cards I have made over the weekend.

I keep forgetting to update my blog. But i don't seem to have any time at the moment. I wish I could just sit down for a whole day at the weekend and just play lol. I was so tired this weekend that I didn't wake up on sunday till 11 am But in my defence I was awake at 4.30 ish.

I did manage to do some card making this weekend though which I am please about. Well actually it was more playing with my new stamps ready to be put on cards. I must Emboss my stamps ( I forget I have an Embosser) lol

Welcome to my blog. It is a work in progress at the moment. I am really just stuck playing with my playlist to represent me a little bit showing my VAST VAST tastes in music.

Well Let me introduce myself.

My name is Claire, I am 24 years of age and I live on own with my imagination in sleepy Suffolk. I am a crafter. I mainly card make but i am slowly getting into Cross Stitch. I have been giving this crafting lark a shot for about a year now and It's additive I am on a crafty buying ban but it's not working really as I have started buy DVDs now. and the whole reason for my ban was to save money lol.

Oh well There are more important things in life than money.

I will be updating with pictures of my cards and other things along the way but please please bare with me as I build this web space of random warblings and waffling.
